110m Hurdles (:13.18)
The next in a long line of great US hurdlers. Though not as tall as most great hurdlers, Brown makes up for it with excellent speed and the best technique since Greg Foster. Listed 21st on the 2004 World IAAF Performance List for 110m hurdles. Signed with NIKE in October 2004. Fulfilled potential indoors by winning the 2005 US Indoor 60m hurdles title in Boston, Mass. Coached by Brooks Johnson. Graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Finance. Brown's agent is Mark A. Pryor, and he currently resides in Orlando, Fl.
Placed 9th at the 2004 US Olympic Trials with a then PR :13.39. That summer, Brown traveled to Europe and made an immediate impact running a PR :13.35 as well as PRs in the 100m (:10.41) and 200m (:20.64). Gained valuable big-meet experience running in 2005 Zurich Golden League meeting.
Brown was a 5-time NCAA All-American at Ohio State and 4-time Big Ten Conference Champion (60m H & 110m hurdles). Went undefeated throughout the outdoor season and then placed 3rd at 2004 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Led the NCAA with the fastest time :13.39 in 2004. Earned All-American honors his freshman year running solid 2nd leg on Buckeyes 4x400m relay with consistent :45 sec. splits. Battled injuries his sophomore & junior years but those were blessings in disguise. A strong work ethic coupled with an extensive weight lifting program has emerged Brown from the multitude of collegiate hurdlers. Since 2003, Brown has taken the hurdle world by storm.
